As my retirement date draws closer, I have been watching some aspects forming involving the transits and my natal chart. T Uranus was slowly forming its second pass over my North Node. Some consider the NN as ‘others’ and your dealings with them. Strong Mars aspects to the NN (and it’s counterpart, the South Node) reveal increased opportunity for actions with others (trine; easy and better than square; difficult and terse for all involved). I actually think that this works well as does the hypothesis that the NN deals with Karma and the underlying reasons you are here in this lifetime.

Uranus is the leader in innovation and fresh starts. When Uranus is involved in an aspect you can also expect the unforeseen or unusual in events or people entering or leaving your life.

Finding Uranus here itself was not new or innovative; I had been closely monitoring this aspect since it retrograded itself out of orb last November. It was in a tight orb when my wife and I broke up last year, so it’s interesting to see how its new conjunction in the 7^th would play out. The seventh house is the house of marriage as well as important 1-1 relations with someone, either social or business or even political.

Friday, January 17, as Uranus moved into the 27^th degree of Aquarius, the very same degree and sign of my NN, my ex-wife, Kats made me a proposal. She asked me if instead of selling my home (which I didn’t want to have to go thru to move to Florida), if I would rent it to her and her son. She said she would work on some projects that would have slowed my move to Florida, if I could help them. Rental costs were very high and they were having a problem with getting the electricity and the heaters to work correctly. This was a unique proposal, out of the blue, so to speak (no pun intended to Uranus’ color of electric blue). The proposal (a 1-1 relationship) was certainly a new way of looking at a problem I have been facing since I decided to think about relocation to the Sunshine State.

Kats and I talked about the proposal last night in some detail. We came to some understanding on issues I thought would be sticking points, which too, was very refreshing. The electrical problems are related to Uranus and Aquarian dealings, too.

Uranus rules my 4^th house, which is the home and also family. The North Node in my natal chart resides in the 4^th house, making this aspect happen in the 4^th of a standard T to N comparison. I use the Diurnal Transits (based each day for the time you were born) as the inside chart and your life constantly moves through the houses. Accurately, the 1-1 between my ex-wife and I, a product of the 7^th house, still dealing with ‘living conditions’, which is the fourth, still rang true. Curiously, in my ex-wife’s chart, the husband’s (7^th) home, (her 10^th) is ruled by Uranus (Aquarius).

Again, as seen thru the transits, the slower movement of the outer planets and their aspects to important natal positions will be within orb when major happenings in your life take place. Here, this type of aspect signified the unexpected and totally new look at a problem for me.
